Meet Rescue Horses. Create Art. Ages 6-16. Runs 5th September (11-2pm)

Join Horse Guided Therapist Shivaun Woolfson and professional artist Gemma Lloyd for an incredibly special day. Taking place at the charity Wealden Horse & Pony Sanctuary, situated in the most beautiful landscape, setting up camp as soon as we arrive we’ll allow the day to unfold.

Under Shivaun’s supervision spend magical time interacting and communicating with the herd.  You’ll learn about horse behaviour, herd dynamics and spend individual time with these incredible horses. While we wait for everyone to have their turn we’ll be making outside art with Gemma.

We are also inviting everyone to bring a picnic and we see the day as a special end of the Summer treat.

The cost is £60 per child, £50 concessions if you’re on benefits or earn a creative’s wage away from a payroll and we can take a maximum of 8 children. Everyone must be accompanied by a parent/carer and they come free of charge.

A portion of the proceeds will be given to this incredible charity that we are collaborating with.  Both Shivaun and Gemma have Enhanced DBS’ and insurance.

Travel – if you drive there are places to park on site and if you come by public transport, Uckfield Train Station is your nearest and then it’s an 8 minute taxi ride.  Seach on National Rail Enquiries for your train and for taxis try UltraTaxi we recommend you prebooking your journey and there is a Premier Inn very close to the sanctuary if you want to make a weekend of it, or come down the night before.
