To say linocut is having a resurgence is a silly thing to say, it never went away but seeing them everywhere right now.
The prints are beautiful and very distinctive and of course a less time consuming alternative to wood cuts.
Gemma will take you from the design process, introducing the tools, showing you how to cut into the lino and taking your first print… which of course is the best bit by far.
By the end of two hours you’ll go home with your very own linocut and print.
For us, these workshops are for adults to explore their creative side with a lot of support and encouragement. You could be the most experienced artist in the world, whatever that might be or have very limited experience, both will gain a lot from attending.
Everything we do we design so you can then carry on creating at home, of course we’ll want to see what you create next.
Questions are always good, let us know if you have any. The workshops are limited to 4 people at a time and all materials are included in the cost.
